A bit too much about Kasey

Kasey always went her own way; a “Wild Child” if you will. She sought liberation. From what, she didn’t know. And like most people that rage against the machine, she got herself in a lot of tight places.

At 13 she began abusing drugs and alcohol. At 17, she was homeless with a physically abusive partner. At 19, a single mom. There’s many more intense details in there that would continue well into her 20s, but let’s skip ahead.

Every time she found courage to make a change, it started with food and exercise. Intuitively she understood that healing your body, healed your mind. At 6’1” her journey began at an emaciated 130 lbs.

She tried everything. But it all fell short. The most counter intuitive outcome being a very disciplined 9 months of raw veganism that put her 40 lbs overweight, constipated, and chronically fatigued.

It felt futile. She gave up time after time and drifted back to sadness; her biggest improvement swapping out substance abuse for workaholism and overeating.

It wasn’t until she began practicing yoga that her life really changed. She regained self confidence, and learned to love herself. She found the liberation she’d always been seeking.

She learned about Ayurveda along the way and knew immediately it was what she had been looking for all these years. She also found out that not many people practice Ayurveda in the US. And that’s when she knew she would devote her life to sharing this sacred knowledge far, wide and responsibly.

Kasey completed Ayurvedic Chef training in New Zealand in 2019 at NAMA accredited school Hale Pule, where she is also completing her 600 hr AHC. She has two beautiful daughters and a really great husband that doesn’t seem to mind that she spends all of her time traveling.

She believes that a beautiful world begins with conscious consumption and wants to help as many people as she can find the absolutely joyful existence that she has found through Ayurveda.
